José Luis Rodríguez Álvarez
Es Licenciado en Derecho y Profesor de Derecho Constitucional en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Ha realizado estudios de postgrado en la Universidad de Heidelberg (Alemania) y ha sido investigador visitante en el Instituto Max Planck durante tres años.
Mr. José Luis Rodriguez Álvarez holds a Licenciate degree in Law and he is Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid.
He has carried out postgraduate studies at the University of Heidelberg (Germany) and has been visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for three years.
He has been coordinator of European Studies at the University Institute Ortega y Gasset, and managing director of the Foundation for Democracy and Local Law. In April 2004 he was appointed director of the Office of the Secretary of State for Parliamentary Relations, and later General Director of Legal Coordination of the Ministry of the Presidency. From February 2009 until June 2011 he was director of the Office of the Minister of Justice. Since June 2011 he is director of the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
